This is the travel blog of two individuals who have been knowing each other since they were teenagers and who more than a decade later with almost no contact in between suddenly decided to go together on an epic journey across the Americas from north to south.
We both grew up in Magdeburg, Germany. Jens emerged from the skateboard culture of this city and studied engineering while I always felt attracted to creative arts. So I got myself a degree in design instead but also worked as director for documentaries, editor, PR manager, photographer and web designer. With this travel blog – or as I call it: “travel log” – I take all my combined skills to enable others to join us as close as possible via the virtual realms of the internet while Jens takes care of the physical aspects of our endeavor. To be more precise, he is building and improving our camping vehicle besides being a good travel mate.
This travel Blog is still in the making. Recently the situation has changed, since Jens got rejected at US border. So I will meet him up again in Mexico. I am cruising alone along the east coast of Washington, Oregon and California.
